Fire the Experts Reprised

This editorial was published in the Union 3 March 2021. I am grateful and am somewhat surprised they published it, though they did so with some qualifications. For example, the editors at the paper changed the title from “Fire the Experts” to “Fire the Experts, I Say.” Hmm… Who does this writer think he is anyway? Sounds rather pompous to me. Wait, that is me I am talking about.

Here is the original text I sent to the paper with changes in bold:

Fire the FDA, IDSA (Infectious Disease Society of America) AMA, and the pharmaceutical complex for their therapeutic nihilism that has contributed to thousands of deaths that could have been prevented with early treatment using Hydroxychloroquine with zinc and azithromycin, Ivermectin, oxidative medicine, diluted food grade H2O2 in nebulizers and/or scores of other treatments.

Here is the text from The Union.

Fire the Food and Drug Administration, Infectious Disease Society of America, American Medical Association, and the pharmaceutical complex for their therapeutic nihilism that I think might have contributed to thousands of deaths that could have been prevented with early treatment using hydroxychloroquine with zinc and azithromycin, Ivermectin, oxidative medicine, diluted food grade H2O2 in nebulizers and/or scores of other treatments other treatments.

They left this material out:

In the summer of 2019, State Department officials inspected the Wuhan lab and found significant safety violations.  The State Department now alleges that several researchers became sick in 2019 with symptoms similar to COVID-19.  Several sources allege that Huang Yanling, a scientist who worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was patient “zero.” She simply disappeared off a page on their web site, leaving a temporary gaping hole in pictures and bios of staff members. COVID-19 is believed by many to have escaped from that lab.

So, since the US provided funding for the research, the so-called Chinese virus is actually a US-China virus.  Better yet we could call it the Expert virus.

Fire Monsanto’s Trojan Horse, Michael Taylor, the current Deputy Commissioner for Foods at the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Extensive research has demonstrated harmful effects from genetically modified food, thanks to his “Generally Accepted as Safe” (GRAS) designation for GMO foods.

Fire the Oregon Medical Board for suspending Dr Paul Thomas’ license for having the audacity to publish his study suggesting that in one population, his patients, unvaccinated children were likely healthier than vaccinated children.

They may have needed to shorten parts of the article, but did they have to weaken the arguments? Still, in today’s censored-politically correct-woke world I am glad they published it. People need to know if we are still funding this “gain-of-function” research, and if so what can be done about it. And yes, thousands did die needlessly, not because I think so, or because I say so, but because it is true.
