Two States Through the Jaundiced Eyes of the Media

Here is the current COVID-19 situation in Israel, population 9 million, one of the first trail blazing countries to vaccinate the majority of its citizens early. They now have the largest case numbers ever. They are giving booster shots to compensate for the declining efficacy of Pfizer vaccines and anticipating a fourth in the future.

Here is the current COVID-19 situation in Uttar Pradesh, India, population 200 million. The numbers are down, having run up to a total of 30,000 around the peak to 14 new cases on September 11. In this article in the India Times we learn that 45% of the state currently have no COVID-19 cases. But nowhere do you find a reference to the role of Ivermectin and other drugs in reducing the case numbers and deaths. If you read the Wikipedia article on the google search link above, you will find a detailed accounting of the pandemic and the governments response to it, but nothing on the role of Ivermectin. The media is hiding the most relevant factor in the reduction of cases, kits given to patients for early treatment. Nowhere will you find a reference to a lawsuit against the WHO Chief Scientist for tweeting misleading messages, other wise known as misinformation, that caused deaths.

The headline is that Israel, with all its vaccines is having more cases while Uttar Pradesh, having used Ivermectin has almost no cases. This really ought to be the headline around the world. Why isn’t it? Could nefarious forces be at work to assure, at minimum, that multinational corporations continue to profit with ineffective expensive drugs like a remdesivir while maintaining a blackout on inexpensive effective early interventions?

We can compare results in two more Indian states, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu free from the jaundiced eyes of media. When Ivermectin was deployed in Delhi on April 20, it obliterated their COVID crisis.  More precisely, over six weeks, cases in the areas treated with Ivermectin in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarkhand, and Goa dropped by 98, 97, 94, and 86 percent respectively. But the state of Tamil Nadu did not drop. Their new cases rose from 10,986 to 36,184 – a tripling. Their refusal to use Ivermectin harmed them. Not only did Tamil Nadu’s cases rise to the highest in India, but their deaths skyrocketed from 48 on April 20 to 474 on May 27 – a ten fold rise. The leaders in Tamil Nadu halted Ivermectin distribution to comply with the directives of the WHO Chief Scientist.

India Could Sentence WHO Chief Scientist to Death for Misleading Over Ivermectin and Killing Indians

The lead attorney for the Indian Bar Association, Dipali Ojha, filed suit on May 25, 2021 against WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan for causing the deaths of Indian citizens by misleading them about Ivermectin. One of the charges, point 56 states, “That your misleading tweet on May 10, 2021, against the use of Ivermectin had the effect of the State of Tamil Nadu withdrawing Ivermectin from the protocol on May 11, 2021, just a day after the Tamil Nadu government had indicated the same for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.” She is accused of “misconduct by using her position as a health authority to further the agenda of special interests to maintain an EUA for the lucrative vaccine industry. ” I wonder what Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey thinks about that.

I shared some of this information with a newspaper editor and chided him for not covering a story like this. He responded as follows:

“It is interesting to watch people leap for the rare, the anecdote and make trends out of them. Distrust reality and believe in every wacky conspiracy. It’s a mental health issue. No one can help that, sadly enough.”

(Consider Mexico City for another “anecdote.” The IMSSS Health Agency found up to a 75% reduction in hospitalization in 50,000 patients treated early with ivermectin compared to 70,000 not treated.)

I wrote back,  “Yep, you were right. Guess I was mental after all what with picking just a few cases and trying to make something of them.  Here is Uttar Pradesh India (included a link) which uses Ivermectin and other drugs and supplements early.”

To which he responded, “Think about that. Some corner of a faraway place and that’s your conclusive proof of anything? Israel is fine vaccinating. Much, much better than the alternative.” (Yep, there is that Hobson’s choice again. It is either vaccinations or suffering and death.)

I didn’t tell him this, but according to Dr Pierre Kory, from FLCCC, Ivermectin is the primary prevention and treatment modality in 79 faraway countries, including Japan. Also, in the United States, there has been a 24 fold increase in prescriptions since before the pandemic.

Call me delusional, call me mental, call me crazy, but if a state can get the case numbers down with early treatment that might be worth at least talking about. Unfortunately, pervasive hubris contaminating our media has resulted in decisions that have led to too many deaths. Do you suppose one reason for the outlandish attempts to sensor and cancel is due to the real fear of what will happen when folks catch on to how they have been duped?
